Issues: Taxes

Taxes are too high and the tax code is far too confusing. I oppose any new taxes on Americans and I fully support repealing the current income tax and replacing it with a simpler, flatter and fairer tax. I am a co-sponsor of the Fair Tax Act, which would repeal the burdensome income tax and replace it with a national sales tax. Congress should not be demanding more money from American families. Our government wastes at least $350 billion every year through waste, fraud and duplication. Our national debt is a result of overspending, not under-taxation.
